The Use It or Lose It Moment

I collect....everything. But with the upcoming sale looming, I am making some hard choices. The decision to use it or lose it! Some of these collections have been stashed in drawers for years. I am at the point where I am digging it all out and deciding if it has a place in this house, and if not then it needs to go out for the sale. I have collected these things because I love them, but if I kept everything I thought was pretty or unique we wouldn't even have room left to sleep! So I am asking you, my lovely blog followers and friends to help me with some of my choices. The first one I am posting about is my collection of wooden Italian plaques. I ♥ them! They are so pretty aren't they? Yeah, they have been in a buffet drawer for two years. I don't know where to put them or how to display them. I am at a loss here. What do you think? Should I use them (and if so any suggestions on where or how would be sooooo appreciated) or should I lose them (by putting them up for sale and letting someone else who will really love them find a use for them)

  1. They are gorgeous. Unfortunately I am like you and I would put them back in the draw thinking they are just to pretty to part with. Wish I had better advice

  2. Beautiful italian plaques. My advice for you is to find a special place where you can hang them to form a collage.

  3. Well you sound like me. Going discount shopping in one post and trying to get rid of stuff in the next. It's so hard because when you do get rid of it, you'll find a use for it. Happens all the time, but at some point you gotta let it go. Maybe save them for the shop. If you aren't using them by the time you open your store, then put them in the store.

I wanna know which Goodwill you go to? I've never found such cool stuff in ours.

  4. It's the Goodwill Outlet on Georgetown road in Indy. It takes a lot of digging in the bins but I usually find a lot of great goodies!
