Our House
Our house is a nearly 100 year old farmhouse.
Almost everything in my home has been thrifted from yard sales, thrift stores and even curbside treasures on trash day! I strongly believe that you can have a beautiful home even if you don't have much money to work with. Re-use, recycle and re-purpose!
I like it!!

Your house is so pretty. Is your home the last one on the tour? One of the best was saved for last if that's true. I am your newest follower; I love your style!!! :D

ReplyDeleteBeen following your thread on facebook's Tin Can Tourists page and came over on the link you posted. What a challenge, finding your camper and then bringing it home! Sounds like Fate was smiling on you all the way through, despite the difficulties. It is certainly an exciting event and I only hope the stories get better. ;-) Happy New Year and best of luck with it! Your home is lovely too, btw.

ReplyDeleteHey there

I love your romantic style of decor. Your home is lovely and warm! Voted for you at Top 25 Home Design Moms!:)
ReplyDeletelovely.....
ReplyDeletejust so charming....
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty home, love all the mirrors and chandeliers, they complete the look perfectly.
ReplyDeleteHi, Just saw your blog. Nice house and love your taste.....but the details in the photograph is very hard to see...you have taken your photos too bright ...and your house is white, so too much brightness from the white house....white stuffs and the light reflections coming from windows (most of the photos taken from inside of the house in front of light source/windows). It feels like flash of light in a bright summer day....not soothing to the eyes.
ReplyDeleteregards,

wowowowow!!! Dreamy!!
ReplyDeleteYour home is so charming! There's SO much inspiration here.
ReplyDeleteOMG! I found you by accident (well, sorta accidentally on purpose, I guess) when I was searching on craigslist for local treasures. We are in the same town. I love love love your style. You have so much talent! Thanks for the inspiration. You've got a new fan. :)
ReplyDeleteFound you somehow...can't remember ,but love your blog and your home. It looks so peaceful. Does it always look this way and how do you maintain the look that no one lives there? There are only two of us here, but I'm always picking up after us!
ReplyDeleteI also live in a 100 year old farmhouse that we recently renovated. Maybe you'd like to see it. Yours makes me think of ours, in a way. It was recently featured in a local vintagemagazine. You can see it here www.issuu.com/vintagekc/docs/winter2013issue.
Farmhouse living is the life for me!
I'm coming to Nashville Easter weekend. My sister just moved to the area. Can you recommend some places to check out. Do you have a store front? Kwinter32@mchsi.com
ReplyDeleteI just adore your blog and am enjoying looking at your beautiful home. Love your mission comment and belief that like me you can make your home beautiful with vintage treasures that can be found at thrift stores, flea markets and even on curbsides. I love to up cycle and give new life to old discarded pieces. Re use, Re cycle and Re purpose is also my motto. I have a very teeny tiny retreat, just 8' wide and 24' long including the 6 x 8 attached front porch. It is filled with lots of free or very low cost items. I too like others to know you can make a home beautiful on limited funds. Your home is magazine worthy and you are an encouragement to so many who think they need to have a lot of money to decorate their homes.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your blog. I will be following now that I have found you.
