Mail Sorter

I'm supposed to be I broke out the paints and a mail sorter (Goodwill Outlet, under $1 purchase) that had cute form but ugly paint. I was going to put some water slide decals (Frenchy stuff) on it when I was done, but it turned out so pretty I couldn't bare to add anything more. Sometimes keeping it simple really is the best way to go. First I painted it a light grey, then I painted it pink, then lightly sanded the edges for a distressed look and lastly added a clear seal coat. I loooove it! I was VERY tempted to keep it, but I am clearing out things for the new year so up on Etsy it got listed.

This was the "Before" Not the worst....but not the best either!!

  4. Very pretty "after." Great job! I had to read your post twice before it hit me that "water slide decals" did not mean decals of waterslides. At first I thought to myself, "Yeah, good choice Nicki on foregoing the waterslide decals." (lol)

P.S. I found you on The Graphics Fairy.
