A Find

You know me and The Goodwill Outlet.....I should just move in to the store! My sister called me last nigh and asked if I wanted to go to the outlet (she drives 30 miles just to come to the outlet near me!!) and of course I wanted to go. I didn't really have money to spend but she found something I could not resist!       
 


Pardon my mess around my desk! 
It is missing it's arms but that is fine by me. I got home and searched for it online. It is "French Train in green" by Timeworks of Berkley California. Layla Grace sold them at one point for around $300. I figure it weighs about three pounds and at .69 cents a pound I paid a whopping $2.07 for it.
So my thoughts are, buy the new ticky tocky parts from the craft store and use it on the wall....use it just for decor and save the money, or.....turn it into a table!!!!!!

    Nicki, go to the clock shop & see if you can buy the replacement parts for this authentic piece. It will keep its value. What a lovely find. Lucky you ...

    Take gloves, hand sanitizer and lots of patience! Some of the stuff can be quite dirty but I think it is soooo worth it for the finds.
