Another Sneak Peak (Marble Island)

I know by now surely you must be getting tired of "sneak peaks". This is mostly my fault. I start a project, then get all excited about a great find that has nothing to do with that project. Eventually in time though, I do get things finished to show the whole "kit and kaboodle". Be patient with me please!

That said, here is a preview of my kitchen island with the new marble top on it. I measured wrong and it turns out a tad smaller in width than I expected. We hope to cut some trim for it soon. Ignore the mess in the background! The marble top prompted a whole ton of things to be moved and more painting to commence (there's even paint on my floor, spilled during excitement. Shhhh)!!
