And all the Christmas Things

Ok so this is my third post in one evening. I'm playing catch up!!

We've covered the winter Hobnob and my new cabinets, so on to all the Christmas things!
I started decorating the day after Halloween, but I swear I am STILL way behind!
Pay no attention to the crooked lamp shade!! I have a cat that loves that table and rubs on the lamp all the time.
I actually took a moment to straighten it before this photo.
I found the clock and mercury glass trees from Homegoods.
It's possible I've been spending way too much time there lately!
The Paris sign is also from Homegoods.
Trader Joes had these adorable Rosemary trees for. I loooooove Trader Joes for greenery this time of year!

I needed one orange for a recipe and bought a whole bag instead figuring someone would eat them. When it appeared that no one was going to I found a recipe for candied oranges. I'd never had them before but it sounded good for the holidays.
Guess what? I would have been better off juicing the oranges to drink.
They looked nice all displayed on a white ironstone plate but I thought they were gross. Even the kids wouldn't touch them.
Here is a random photo of the beginnings of cranberry sauce.  I LOVE cranberries and I might have to eat them all....no one else in the house likes them.

And as long as I am being random....here is a photo of me and the cat....the one who pretends to hate humans.....pretty sure the amount of snuggling here proves otherwise.

Since odds are pretty good that I won't be back around to blog again before Christmas,
Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, Happy Holidays, Happy whatever it is that you celebrate, merry merry from my house to yours!
*Hugs*
