Oh Darlin

I sold a bed on Friday and my friend Lael asked if I wanted to go to Midland Antiques on Saturday.

Silly me, I've lived in or near Indianapolis my entire life and have never been to half of the great places around here locally. I've passed Midland dozens of times but never made the trip in.

We ended up making an entire day of it. Midland {Lael found a snazzy vintage napkin holder for me for the camper}, lunch, Goodwill Outlet, and then Michaels where I found these...
 {Instagramed of course lol}

Then my sister who has never been to Midland decided she wanted to go on Sunday. So back to Midland I go! There was a white Moroccan pouf that I really wanted and some antelope hides, but being on a budget I had to pass on them...for now. I did however pick up some awesome vintage mint green lunch trays with silver glitter in them, which I have a fun project in mind for.

Then back to the Outlet yet again with sis, where I found the cutest white and baby blue bowling bag, a mint green vintage prom dress, a pink vintage prom dress, a pale pink and white Asian Narco figurine, and some 1800's French and German poetry books {photos to come, promise!}

I know since the camper came home I have been talking about a lot of pastels. I've always always loved pastels, but with a smaller house full of kids and chaos the white palette is what suits me most. The Vintage Darlin is my perfect chance to go crazy will all the fun colors that I love!

  1. Reality Jayne and I went to Midland a year ago and have been talking about going back. Love that place. I got in trouble for taking too long in there, taking too many pictures. OH well.....

  4. Oh! It would have been super hard to not pick those antlers up. I've been desperate for a set for about a year.
