It's been a long summer and a combination of being busy and lack of funds has kept me away from the yard sales.
Then a couple of weekends ago when we were having our yard sale, someone told me there was an awesome yard sale down the street from me.
So off we went! I ended up coming home with two columns, a mannequin leg, a Ralph Lauren dress form, a retro flower cart, and several pairs of shutters.
Here are the columns in my kitchen.
I've been searching Pinterest and Google for more column ideas, but haven't found very many. If you have any idea's for columns this size please do share!
Happy Friday!!

Hi Nicki, Lovely blog! I didnt realize you were The Vintage Farmhouse lol. LOVE YOUR PICS! Anyway, your colums are great! Sounds like you ended up having a great time at that yard sale. I wish ours were as good as yours! Colums...hmmm...thats a hard one but I could see them draped with Christmas decorations and a big swag hanging from one to the other and fairylights. I cant wait to see what you do with them. xo
ReplyDeleteWhat about columns in the garden with climbing roses?
ReplyDeleteI think they'd be great beside you door!...maybe...?
ReplyDeleteWonderful find. If you like them in your kitchen right where they are, how about adding a recycled piece (not sure what - maybe a narrow ladder or wire crib springs or ?)above it and using it as a pot and pan rack.
ReplyDeleteI want to see the rest of your finds!
ReplyDeleteI had been temporarily confused and thought that your sale hadn't happened yet. I wish I hadn't missed it. I'm planning on coming to the Indie Mart and look forward to seeing you there!
Keep looking. I can't remember which blog, but one of these has a lot of columns in their home and garden.
