Some people should not be allowed in the craft store unless they have a shock collar on that shocks them every time they try to buy something not on their list.....I feel comfortable saying this because I am one of those people.
I went in to Michaels the other day for plaster of paris, and I walked out with soap molds and supplies.
I've never made my own soap before and figured, why not.
I bought the goats milk soap that you melt and I added organic lavender buds and rosemary oil, the poured into a mold. Easy peasy and woooooo boy does my kitchen smell nice!
And I found another use for the Jeanne D'Arc giftwrap I bought a few months back. It's almost a vellum like quality and is perfect for wrapping the soap.

ReplyDeleteI love the shock collar reference - I am one of those people too - I do that with crafts and grocery shopping! I had been wondering about making soap and now you have inspired me - let's see if I can get out of Michael's with just the soap fixin's.....

Love the packaging. I adore anything wrapped in paper and tied up with twine and soap hits the spot. You might have inspired me to give soap a try myself. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteIt's all in the packaging. Great for gift giving or just for a display.
ReplyDeleteLOL - this is SO me too! I feel like I need those blinders they put on horses when I go into any store with craft supplies or the dollar store! Love that paper you bought too!
