I spent the entire day Thursday going through the boxes from the two free truckloads I received from my friend and setting up the yard sale.
I Mod Podged old book pages to this dresser and distressed the edges some.
I was really surprised and honestly kind of happy it didn't sell.
You see, I have good news and a top secret project I plan to start soon, and this little dresser will be perfect for what I have in mind.{ok, not totally top secret, I've leaked the info some here and there and I probably won't be able to resist posting some inspiration photos soon}
This piano bench sold to Jen Kershner of The Cottage Nest
and Tabitha of Creative Wings bought a petticoat.
I'm not sure if I mentioned it before, but at the last yard sale before this one, I got to meet Cindy Bee from Hilltop Farm
She went home with a vehicle FULL. See her blog for that post!
It's been so much fun meeting these crafty ladies!
I also got to meet a few other amazing readers, but I didn't get everyone's names {it doesn't help, that I am horrible with names and faces!!}
So if any of you are reading this, leave a comment so I can give you a shout out!
I recieved this email from a fabulous reader on Thursday and was so flattered.
"Love love love you!!!!! We are taking off next Fri to visit you at Tipton's. LOL - not stalking you - just love your style/blog. Thanks for working with us regarding this evening. You will know it's us when we wheel in your drive at break neck speed. "
I have met some amazing and wonderful people since I started blogging.
Thank you all!!

Isn't it so much fun to get to meet your customers! And make friends from blogworld. I have a bench just like the one you have in picture mine is a bit tall and I was told it is an organ bench? Love the dresser and I love your blog as well!

LOVE all of your projects! I'm a new follower -- need to come back tomorrow to do some more 'browsing'!!
ReplyDeleteHey thanks for the shout out. I will be there...Lord willing... on Friday! Can't wait. I love your pics on the last post. I decided that I'm going to paint my new craft room in a creamy color...maybe a hint of blue or pink, but after looking at those pics, I think with creamy walls I can change colors on everything else easily.
ReplyDeleteI got a cabinet a few weeks ago for five bucks! I think I'll paint it. Never would have thought of doing that, thank you very much.
