I have a bazillion and two mason jars just laying around here and there. {literally, I mean I trip over them when I get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom} so I figured it's time to start putting some to use.
We canned around 40 jars of apple butter and pumpkin butter which left only a bazillion and two minus 40 {you do the math!} mason jars.
Project time!! And here is an insanely quick and easy one:
Spray paint lids
print some spooky images
then either place the images inside the jar
{or glue them if you want to feel like you've actually done something crafty}
lol
seriously, easy peasy.
These are wonderful . . . It's an adorable way to add a little "mysterious" to your autumn pantry, LOL
ReplyDeleteReally these would make a great party decoration or look great setting on the mantle.
Perfection in Halloween fun :)
Such a great idea! These look great, thx for the idea.
ReplyDeleteCute idea for Halloween props!
ReplyDeleteI like the way the owl is just sitting in the jar. Like the simplicity of the black and white graphics.
ReplyDeleteWhat a GREAT idea! These would look awesome added to any Halloween vignette!
ReplyDeleteCUTE! Thanks for the quick idea. I'm thinking they'd look cool with my chalkboard painted gourds...if I could just find them. They are in a box...somewhere.....
ReplyDeleteIn the meantime, I'm hoping to get to Horton's tomorrow.

I just was admiring painted Mason jars at a French market this weekend. I guess I really never thought about how versatile they are as a medium for paint. Your jars are terrific. How easy to just paint the lids, print and go! Thank you for the idea.
ReplyDeleteHow cool!
