Haunted Home

I am so ready for Halloween! How about you? It's my favorite holiday I think.

I have already been working on my decor for the festivities and will have a series of decor/party supplies/accessories called "Haunted Home" available online and at markets this year.

You might remember some of my favorites from last year that will return again.

And Fred will of course be back at his spot at the table for dinner.
I found a couple of creeptacular items to add to the spook-fest around the house.

Love this old medical table.
And how about this wheelchair? Fred will be so happy to have someone wheel him around!
Maybe I am just a little morbid......but I adore this Holiday that is the complete antithesis of all the white light bright and airy that I stick to. A chance to play around with something totally different!

  1. I love your vintage blacks and whites for Halloween. I want to do a fun Halloween theme this year, like last year's theme was A Leaky Cauldron Soiree ;P

I love your trick or treat rosettes on a stick!

  2. I am so ready for Halloween. In fact I am thinking of getting my fall out now so I can have a few weeks before I really start the decorating. I love the table and wheelchair. I have already been thinking of what our Annual Halloween invitations will be this year. Alaina

  5. Nope! July 4th is my favorite holiday. Picnics and fireworks and summertime fun! But Halloween is my Shug's favorite. I love Christmas too, minus all the hype. Love your decorations.

  6. I am so sad that summer is coming to an end. I enjoy fall but hate winter.
My Halloween decorations have changed drastically since my children have grown and moved out.
I love vintage blacks and whites with subtle accents of orange.
    Thanks for sharing.
    Have a lovely weekend.

  9. I love Halloween--the spooky/funny type. Doll heads in cloches (that always freaks people out!) Eddie Allen's Haunted Portraits are the best. Mix it all up w/ black cheesecloth, microscopes and old books. Creepy!!!

  10. I lohuvvvv it! Great things here! And am I morbid, or so addicted to vintage junk that when I recently was diagnosed with MS, I told my husband it was time to hunt for a vintage wheel chair like the one you have? I was thinking of how chic it would look, but he's thinking of how much work it will be for him! But I didn't consider how spooky it was until I saw yours in this post!
I will definitely by putting up several Halloween posts this year, but I was late getting them posted last year so If you didn't get a chance to see them, I think you'll really enjoy mine too. Here's one-http://junkaholicsunanimous.blogspot.com/2012/10/its-halloween.html

Loved this post and I'm pinning some of your images if that's okay!

  12. I love Halloween too, and so do my kids. I am already thinking and planning a display with potion bottles, and things like that. I don't like too much orange. I love the old wheelchair, and medical table. Awesome finds! Now, to check out what you have for sale!
