Introducing Ella E Inspired Vintage Jewelry

Please welcome Ella E to our vendor line-up for the Spring Market!

Lara McDonald is the designer and founder of ELLA E. With a Bachelor of Fine Art from Eastern Illinois University, Lara set out to make her mark as a print designer. She worked for several design firms in Chicago before branching out to start her own design company, Lara McDonald Design, Inc. LMD evolved into Fuse Creative Group in which Lara’s print and web design campaigns were handled to completion that incorporated writing, photography, and design, through to fully finished printed pieces.

Her client list includes University of Chicago Hospital, Loyola, Delnor Hospital, Levy Restaurants & Levy Restaurants Sports & Entertainment Properties’, Rosebud Restaurants, Suave Hair Products, Dove®, Kraft Mac & Cheese, Weber Shandwick PR Firm, Chicago-area Catholic Church Campaigns,  and many Private Schools including Glenwood School. While loving her design business for 12+ years, Lara craved more creativity outside of the computer world. She found a unique oxidized metal and started to create jewelry for herself. Lara had always been a pioneer when it came to fashion,  jewelry and creating a personal style; jewelry design became a perfect outlet to further her passion for creativity. Lara first exposed the wholesale world to her jewelry line, ELLA E. and worked with a couple of industry reps who regularly showcased her line at various wholesale markets. ELLA E. is sold in many boutiques in Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin, Florida, Colorado and some Northwest states. ELLA E. continues to grow in popularity but is intended only for those women who seek to stand out from the rest.
Lara also dedicates a lot of time in her most cherished roles, as wife to her husband and mom to three young children, Cade age 12, Ella age 9 and Decker age 5. While most days are challenging and rewarding all in one breath with a growing, jewelry line and mother of three active children, Lara wouldn’t have it any other way. Lara’s  personal passion for creativity through ELLA E. drives her incredibly strong work ethic, but the bigger force comes from her kids witnessing that the impossible, is possible. All three of Lara’s kids have found a way to be a part of ELLA E, the oldest loves to set-up and attend events, while the second is amazing with color and feedback and the third is excellent at organizing stones, tagging and displaying.
