More Halloween

Pretty sure I might have mentioned once or twice that I LOVE Halloween.

I found these black and white paper straws at Homegoods, 50 of them for $4! The flags on them I printed out from Pinterest.

The cute little napkins I found at Target super cheap.

 Oreo truffles and Pumpkin Macarons {This is the part where I cheated a little, the Pumpkin Macarons are not homemade, they came from Trader Joe's!}
Halloween wands from paper, old book pages, a stamp, ric rac, and some glitter.
 The cupcakes were from a box mix
{Spice flavor with cream cheese icing}
My goal with the party was to save some time and money. It doesn't hurt when you don't have a lot of time to take a few short cuts
{like boxed cake mix!}
The toppers were also printed out from Pinterest

 That cute little mat on the table came from my lovely friend Sandi of Wayside Treasures

I sent hubby out to get the mail the other night when I was setting up the decor and he says "Sandi sent you something." I tore it open and almost cried. I loooooove it. Unexpected surprises by mail from sweet friends are just awesome!!

 Dollar store candles, crow, and skulls, Halloween decor on the cheap! I found the vintage black goblets at a yard sale and put candles in them.
 Here is a rare photo of me, eyes all painted green and glittery. It was my witch make up.
My best friend Lori and my daughter. Lori made her own Raggedy Ann costume! Can you believe it? It looks better than most of the store bought costumes I've seen!
 My good friend Katie that I have known since kindergarten.
She came as herself circa 1997!

 This is my little sister. I wish I had gotten a  better photo of the little hat on her head. Seriously guys.....a couple of years ago this girl did not have a crafty bone in her body, but at the party she announces she MADE her hat from a can coozie, paint and a piece of an old cape.
Sniffle sniffle, I am SO proud of her!
Our party was so much fun. I wish I had taken more photos, but we had rum.....lots of rum.......and were having WAY too much fun to remember to take photos.
