Daughters Room

Progress??
I've been working on my oldest daughters room again.
 {sold her old bed for $100 and replaced it with this one from Craigslist for $75}
You might notice there are only partial views of the room.....
I swear, this is the one room I am never ever going to get finished.
At one point I almost had it done.
Gave everything a fresh coat of white.....then my husband let the tiny tot terror have crayons and a coloring book.....
EVERY SINGLE surface in the room was covered in crayon.
Note to self, if the tiny tot terror promises not to color on anything and spends more than five minutes quietly in her sisters room, something is wrong!

Soooo what you are not seeing are the surfaces I have yet to repaint.
The bed started out looking like this...
 Bless it's little brassy heart, the chandelier started out like this...
And the room started out like this...

  5. Great vision again. The bed looked dasterdly (is that a word?) and the chandelier is a wonderful addition (with the white paint of course). Room looks great but I liked the blue too. What are you plans for the closet doors? We are without doors right now because of our new hardwoods and we are having a hard time agreeing on a style.

  34. Her room is lovely! I just bought a similar bed, actually a whole set, and I posted the pictures today. Your dreamy, and more ornate, version is really making me lean towards painting it white.

  35. The white on white is so very soothing. You must have just about died when you saw the crayon all over, though. Eek! Can't wait to see further progress.

    (And wow, the bed looks SO much better now!)
