It's no secret, I LOVE picking through other peoples trash. I live in a upper class town with *tons* of disposable income and people throw everything away.
{For the record I am soooo not one of those disposable income people, which is what started me on the whole junkin thing}
Last night and this morning my friend and I went out and I brought home a tile top kitchen table with matching Windsor chairs, antique wooden swivel stool with claw foot legs that are holding the old school crystal balls, as well as half a dozen other random small things.
But my favorite find was this piece
The back is marked Roma Italy and it has aurora borealis beads.
that is crazy!!! people just throw away great stuff like that?
ReplyDeletewow, what an amazing find. so beautiful, I've never seen one like it!
ReplyDeleteAnd to think I'm less than 45 miles north of you and we see nothing out! Crazy!! Beautiful find!
ReplyDeleteThat is most definitely a keeper! It's amazing to me what people will throw away, but lucky for us who will gladly take it home to give it a new life! t.xoxo
ReplyDeleteI will NEVER understand people and why they throw away things with such beauty, history, charm? Not to mention the impact on our planet! Oh, well...as the saying goes, one man's garbage...Much love, Lisa
