I really want a ruffled table cloth for my table at Hortons French Flea Market , but as far as price goes the few I have seen for sale are really REALLY expensive.
This is where my mediocre sewing skills come into play!
I decided to give it a go. What they heck, I've done so many other things without patterns and barely having any knowledge of sewing, why not?
But last Saturday I got amazingly lucky! I spent the day going to yard sales with my best friend and found nine ruffled valances for $3.
I cut them apart and sewed each piece in a row onto an old sheet. (Oh how I LOVE old sheets, they come in handy for everything!)
And here is my final result:
Ta Da!!!
Project cost $4 total!

It turned out SO gorgeous!! I've been cutting and re-attaching lots of ruffles lately too. I'll have to try a tablecloth. I've always wanted one as pretty as yours. Great job!!
