Easy Ruffled Table Cloth

I really want a ruffled table cloth for my table at Hortons French Flea Market , but as far as price goes the few I have seen for sale are really REALLY expensive.

This is where my mediocre sewing skills come into play!

I decided to give it a go. What they heck, I've done so many other things without patterns and barely having any knowledge of sewing, why not?

But last Saturday I got amazingly lucky! I spent the day going to yard sales with my best friend and found nine ruffled valances for $3.

I cut them apart and sewed each piece in a row onto an old sheet. (Oh how I LOVE old sheets, they come in handy for everything!)

And here is my final result:
Ta Da!!!

Project cost $4 total!

(Sorry about the not so fabulous picture. It was rainy and gloomy here today, not so good for lighting)
