Wonderful Soothing White

I had a less than great day. 
I had to sit back, breathe, eat some chocolate, read the AMAZING comments so many of you left on my previous post and shake it off. 
Bad grubby feelings be gone!

So here I sit winding down this evening, thinking about things, and browsing the web for inspiration photos of decor that always seems to relax me.

There is just something about an all white palette  that has an amazing calming hold on me. I try and try to put some color in my decor and find myself drawn back to white (of course dashes of pink and gold are a bonus!)

I think after my big sale, I am going to invest in some white paint.....and maybe some bird cages??

    Scotch guard!! I brought home yet another antique sofa and plan to recover it in white and scotch guard is going to be my best friend!! I ♥ my coffee too and am not exactly full of grace!

    Nikki I feel the same way about white even though my current house only has one white room. White always acts as a perfect canvas for any direction you want to go. I'm so envious of the peeps with those beautiful Rachel Ashwell-esque interiors. *sighs* Vanna

    love all white too! working on a color for my new mirror when the obvious choice would have been white, but sometimes I stray into color....
