I am in the hospital. It looks like I am going to be here at least a few days. I've had that "pinched nerve" that ran into my leg to the point where I couldn't walk the last two days. Then I noticed one leg was entirely purple.....emergency room time!!!
Turns out my "pinched nerve" is a bloodclot running the entire length of my leg and in my lung.
Boooo. All my plans for Easter and my daughters birthday are now on hold. My annual yard sale also on hold.
Well at least the hospital has internet!!
I'm so sorry to hear about this. I'll keep you in my prayers and hope you get better soon! Blessings, Vanessa
ReplyDeleteOono I hope everything works out for you
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! I'm so glad that you got to the hospital. This could have been REALLY serious if you wouldn't have gone in time! Sorry about your Easter plans, but at least you are being cared for. You'll be on the mend soon! ~Stacy~
ReplyDeleteNicki, I hope you get all fixed up and home soon! That sounds very scary! The bright side is you didn't have to host your easter dinner!! xxoo
ReplyDeleteOh dear! Glad you gave in and went to ER.....that could have been bad! Take care and get better soon!
ReplyDeleteOMG...sorry to read this! The hospital is the best place for you right now. Our bodies have a way of telling us that it is time to "slow down" and put some things on hold. I know--I've been there and done that!!
ReplyDeleteI will be remembering you in my prayers.
OMGoodness! How scarey, I'm glad you went in.
ReplyDeleteTake care and all those things will wait.
Happy Easter in the hospital!

ReplyDeleteI agree, it does sound scary! I hope you get better soon, don't worry about anything else the main thing is that you are being looked after in hospital. Take care, Maryann

Nicki! I just got over a blood clot myself! I pray it disappears quickly and that you don't come to hate the blood thinners like I did!

ReplyDeleteGet well soon! You are in my prayers!
ReplyDeleteSending warm thoughts and positive energy your way...
ReplyDeleteOMG, how awful! I'm glad you made it to the hospital in time. Blood clots are serious business. So sorry your Easter was ruined, but at least you are okay. My Easter was altered by a tornado that ripped through our airport just as two of my cousins were flying in. One got diverted and had a horrible long trip by bus and another had to cancel altogether as the airport was still shut down yesterday. What a terribly exciting Easter this has been! ;) Hope you are well very soon and back home safe. Happy Easter!

ReplyDeleteI can't stress enough how serious this is (or was) I hope you are on the mend now, do you know what caused it?
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear that you've got DVT but SO glad to hear that you are being cared for. I've been in your shoes before and know how hard it is to miss those holidays and special occasions (my DVTs happened on Christmas Eve and then again the next year for New Year's Eve). Take advantage of the time in the hospital to rest and get well (in between the blood draws, that is!) and hang in there! GET WELL SOON!
ReplyDeleteHmmm...thats scary..Hope you feel better...Thank goodness for WiFi
