Duh Moments

I had a serious duh moment. I guess this is what happens after another round with the stomach flu and no sleep in 2 nights! The little ones have been ill , I have been ill, and then the hubs ended up ill.

So I tried to post a comment on http://shabbychicgirls.blogspot.com/ and hit the "link to" button instead of the comment button. One of those days what can I say! She has some fab vintage prom dresses (and also tons of absolutely fab decor) If you haven't checked out her blog yet, you most definitely should!

At any rate I accidentally posted a blog when I hit the link to...didn't realize it...then finally figured it out and tried to fix my oops by writing another blog. Yeah....no sleep I said! If this is making no sense to you, well that's ok....me either.

Because after I wrote the second blog to try to "fix" my oops I realized I had not posted any pictures. And darn it, I have pictures to share!
Bear with me.....I'm not as crazy as i sound, just really really sleepy.

I'm off to try to get to bed early tonight, but before I go...yes I do have a point somewhere in here......

Here's some pictures I got of the monkeys today. They are all feeling better (thank goodness!)

The tiny tot terror in her new party dress.
See that bunny in monkey boys arms? That is Nibbles the Beanie Bunny who has had most of his fur loved off. If anyone out there has a Beanie Baby named "Nibbles" and would like to sell him, I'm your girl! I've been searching for a replacement......

  3. Goodness. I am glad everyone is on the mend. I quite liked the dress, so I'm not at all disappointed to have seen it.

  4. I did the same thing! That blog still haunts me.
I found you through Simply Me, she has a beautful home. My friend Debbie at Vintage Soul styled her home for Fifi's photo shoot.

I just went and checked out her blog. It is amazing and full of eye candy! I also checked out yours and am now a follower. You also have amazing eye candy! Love it!
I don't think we are too close to Evansville. We are just a bit NW of Indianapolis.

  6. I'm glad that most of your family are feeling better. We had a round of norwalk virus a couple of weeks ago.

  7. Nicki,

Don't you know...you cannot replace Nibbles. My neice explained the whole thing to me one time when I said she needed a new blankie. You can get another one, but you can NEVER get rid of the old one. It's just not the same. She was six when she told me this. She still has her threadbare blankey that she's had since she was a baby and she is now eight. She also has another one. One that her Mom tried to replace...so now, instead of one blankey, they take two everywhere they go!
