Coffee Filter Love

Seriously, what can't you do with coffee filters?
I am on a coffee filter kick. They are cheap and versatile.

Now this first project was so TIME consuming, but totally worth it.
I had all of these round paper lanterns left over from one of the kids parties and wanted to do something to spruce them up.

{Insert coffee filters}

It took about 3 packages, but at $1 each it was still cheap!
You just crumple them up and hot glue them on, being careful to get them close together so you don't have empty spaces when you are done.

I am using the silver tinsel to hang it, just double wrapping it since tinsel is sort of thin, and putting an led light inside for ambiance.

  {Why is it when I say ambiance I lower my voice and drag it out all funny? ahhhhmbiaaance. Shhhh you know you are doing it now too!}
What I love about coffee filters is that they are cheap and you can dye them!

For this next project I soaked them in tea and baked them dry in the oven. Then just more hot glue to an old lamp shade, easy peasy.
Yep, that's it in a nutshell.
I ♥ Coffee Filters

What is your current crafting obsession?

Hope you are having a fabulous week!
