Can someone please explain to me why is it that when I am trying to earn enough money for several different things that I always throw one more thing in on top of it?
I am currently in negotiation for an old junk camper. Silly me, I looked at too many blogs, Facebook, and Pinterest and what did appear before my wandering eyes?
CAMPERS!
It crawled into my head and grabbed a hold of my poor little brain and said "You need one!"
You see once upon a time I had a garage which I had high hopes of turning into a little studio/shop and then we moved the chickens in. Then I had a guest room/studio and then my ex husband moved back in.
After seeing all these f-a-b-u-l-o-u-s campers I thought well that might just be the ticket!
I went a searching, and found one, maybe the perfect one, that I can actually afford {provided I get busy and pull in some extra cash} It's like really really cheap. I can't even say how cheap, one of you might beat me to it!!
So it's added to my list of things....
Here are some pretties I found on Pinterest.
I want one too and it seems like I keep seeing them everywhere, reminding me that NEEEEEED one ;)
ReplyDeleteOh.... I want one too!! Have you seen my Pinterest with vintage campers?
ReplyDeleteLove the eye candy.
ReplyDeleteSadly...I have a camper. But the funds and LIFE have interfered once again with my PLANS~!
Hope you get yours...Pat
I think they are pure whimsy! And we all need a little whimsy in our lives!
ReplyDeleteI love it! I think I'd like a camper too! Then we could all be camper buddies!!!

how fun especially the old pink truck pulling the pink camper. Totally a chicks dream.love it!
ReplyDeleteLOL ... I'm waiting (patiently) for Hubby to empty out the small garage on our property so that I can turn it into a studio (escape to peace and quiet to write) for myself, we are going on almost 2 years.... down the road there is a camper for sale- similar to these- each time I drive by it I think "hmm, wonder if that would work as a little writing studio?" .... these are all fabulous.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see yours and how you will personalize it! Happy week-end..HHL
I have seen lots of photos of campers lately. And they are so beautiful. But lucky me I am not a camper at all.And I have no where to put it as a studio either.Thank goodness because I have too many other projects coming up soon that will take up my time and money LOL! But I still LOVE looking at the photos!

OMG! Nicki, go to my blog and take a look. We must be thinking alike this week. I wanted the camper on my blog and contacted the guy about it, but I really want a bathroom in my camper.
ReplyDeleteOK here's what I think...if there is any way you can possibly swing it...get the camper. GO FOR IT! You are a go for it kind of girl. Look what you've done with your house in no time, and on a budget. Figure out a way, sell some stuff on your blog, do an extra show or two....you need a studio and a camper is the perfect solution. Talk to people down a couple hundred too!

PS - If any of you are serious about wanting a camper, look at the one on my blog. It's located in West Lafayette, Indiana and it is so cool. If you talk to Matt about it, tell him Cindy sent you!
My dream is to own one and meet up with all of my blog friends...wouldn't that be the best time ever? Lucky you!! I cannot wait to see it.
ReplyDeleteI've been looking for one to use as a summer guest room! Maybe next year. ~ Maureen
ReplyDeleteIf you could see my bff's Tracy Porter camper you would know why you want one! Those blue polka dots are the best!
